Cryptocurrency! We’ve heard so much about it, for better or worse, over these past few years. It was all the rage, and then there were so many doubts and questions. What does it all mean for you as a Catholic fundraiser? Do you really need to accept donations in cryptocurrency?

Join this panel presentation and discussion about what you need to know to decide if cryptocurrency is for you and your organization. Learn from fellow Catholic fundraisers with real-world experience researching, understanding, and then launching cryptocurrency platforms and campaigns.

Joe Gillmer, Executive Director of Development at the Archdiocese of Washington (DC), and Rachel Earl, Chief Development Officer of St. Labre’s Indian School, come from differently-structured organizations, went through different decision-making and implementing processes, and each landed in a slightly different place with cryptocurrency. Jim Friend, Director of Mission Advancement at the Saint John Vianney Center and Host of the Advancing Our Church podcast, has interviewed thought leaders in Blockchain Technology and the use of Cryptocurrency as a way to support nonprofits and participated in the recent Catholic Crypto Conference in Valley Forge, PA.
