In this position, you will manage a portfolio of up to three impressive clients like these by integrating telephone fundraising into their annual budget and plan to increase both file and revenue growth. 

Job Summary
Reporting to an Account Director and collaborating closely with our Chief Results Officer and other internal departments, an Account Manager oversees the implementation of an Annual Budget/Proforma to deliver stellar telephone fundraising results for House File/Active efforts, Lapsed Reactivation, New Donor Acquisition, and Sustainer Related Services. You will oversee the development of strong appeals, effective phone script/fulfillment copy, data analysis, technical transfers and processes, development of motivational/informational program training for agents dialing in the campaign and facilitate communication with the call floor operations to deliver ON TIME, IN GOAL, AT VOLUME results!

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage client relationships (keep them happy!)
  • Provide project oversight/direction for individual client programs (within a client’s annual budget) to deliver ON TIME, IN GOAL, AT VOLUME results
    • Working with copy writer(s) to develop strong phone scripts and effective fulfillment packages
    • Working with co-op model selection of internal modeling staff to recommend strong data selects
      • Data analysis
  • Oversee technical transfers and process such as:
    • File transfers
    • Credit Card processing
  • Oversee accurate/informative client-facing reporting
    • Program Results
    • Client Business Reviews

Job Requirements
Enough experience in non-profit direct response marketing/fundraising to know how to spell KPI, RFM, ROI, CPDR, CTA (and know what they mean)! Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel (Pivot Tables), PowerPoint, etc. Excellent communication skills are a must – both written and verbal! Above all, you must have a heart for non-profits and incredible gratitude (shock and awe) for the donors to fuel these machines. 

You must be amenable to working in a “family” style (30+ year old) business where the founders are still actively/deeply involved in steering the ship and are constantly striving to improve our company and our product!
